If you explore off the beaten track, you’ll find plenty of 007 First Light safe codes. The problem is, some of them are trickier to unlock than others. Most safes are optional, but unlocking them will either reward you with a collectible or give information that can help James Bond gain access to new areas and complete the task at hand.

The clues for the safe codes are always nearby in 007 First Light, but if you want to skip the search or can’t figure them out, here are all the safe codes (and codes for other things, such as locked doors) we’ve found in young Bond’s adventure, in the order you’ll encounter them in-game.

Carpathian Hotel manager’s office safe code (Chapter 8)

  • Location: Manager’s office
  • Code: 1952
  • Reward: 6 of Roses (collectible), cellar key (item)

If you make your way to the manager’s office for the Carpathian Hotel during the Slovakia mission, you’ll find a safe under the desk. The solution to this is found in the left-hand drawer, where you can find a note about wine tasting, where the manager notes his favorite is the “Mont Arras Sacrimental.”

Dotted around the room are different wines on display in cabinets. One of them is the “Vino Sacramental,” which is described as a “vintage wine from 1952.” Enter the code to nab the rewards and complete the “Wine Connoisseur” challenge in the process. (And don’t forget to read the note on the desk to learn the laundry code!)

Laundry room door code (Chapter 8)

  • Location: Laundry room
  • Code: 1805
  • Reward: Access to the laundry room

As mentioned above, the code for the laundry room is on a sheet of paper on the desk above the safe in the manager’s office. This will grant you entry to the laundry room, which is where you’ll find the game’s first proper stealth section, as you pursue the blond man masquerading as a bellhop.

Webb Industries safe code (Chapter 12)

  • Location: Sir Nicholas Webb’s office
  • Code: 1493
  • Reward: The command code for Isola

Solving this puzzle is mandatory to progress through the story, but it can be a little confusing. As Bond, Greenway, and Isola are trying to make it to the Perch during the “Knightfall” mission, Bond finds himself in Sir Nicholas Webb’s office. Opening the safe is all about inspecting the many objects on display around the room. More specifically, each one has a number associated with it.

The order you want to investigate the items in is as follows, indicated by Isola’s note: Diploma (1), painting (4), game (9), model (3). Open the safe then go back to Webb’s desk to cover your tracks, then stay hidden from Nicholas and Damien as they enter the room.

Q-Lab armory door code (Chapter 15)

  • Location: Q-Lab
  • Code: 1324
  • Reward: Service pistol

While this one isn’t a safe, it is another required code to progress the story. It can be found when you’re exploring Q-Lab after dark. Once Q leaves, you’ll have three objectives, one of which is to get a new service pistol, which can be found in the armory. Problem is, the door’s locked with a four-digit code.

The solution to the code is Waters’ high score on the shooting range. Head into the next room and you’ll find a note on a table from Brooks, telling Waters to change the code because the leaderboard’s glitching. This is the only hint you need to get inside and grab the pistol.

Q-Lab cabinet code (Chapter 15)

  • Location: Q-Lab
  • Code: 4397
  • Reward: Q’s photo (collectible), battery

In the stress test chamber, where you must go to get a Q-Watch, you’ll get trapped there upon picking up the device. In one corner of the room is a cabinet that needs a four-digit code to unlock. The only clue is the note next to it, which explains “the code should always be related to test subject itself.”

If you look inside the test chamber, you’ll see a car. The license plate reads “QLAB 4397.” Take the last four digits and enter them into the cabinet keypad to unlock it.

Antarctica archive safe code (Chapter 16)

  • Location: Archive
  • Code: 1864
  • Reward: Path to the security office

When you’ve infiltrated the Antarctica base of operations for Webb Industries, you’ll eventually be tasked with upgrading your I.D. bracelet in the security office. However, getting to that security office can be a pain. One easy way to do it is to open the Archive door with the code above, as that will reveal a vent you can take all the way there.

How do you discover this code? Well, that requires opening a safe on the floor below, which can be found under a desk in an office at the far end of the corridor, directly below the security office. The safe requires the safe key though, which is acquired by looting it off a desk at the opposite end on the same floor, once you’ve distracted the guards in the room to give yourself an open path to it.
