What to expect from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
The game follows a new conflict on the Korean Peninsula, with Captain Price also returning for a story, connecting multiple battlefronts. Alongside the single-player campaign, Modern Warfare 4 also includes competitive Multiplayer and DMZ, which is an extraction mode.
The campaign’s synopsis reads, “War erupts on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea launches a full-scale invasion that threatens to destabilize the world. A young squad of South Korean soldiers fights to survive on the collapsing front lines, while half a world away a vengeful Captain Price wages a personal war from the shadows as he stays one step ahead of those hunting him.”
The campaign features missions across the globe, with gameplay spanning major metropolitan hubs like Mumbai, Paris, and New York. On the other hand, Multiplayer focuses on grounded, precise combat where player choices and fluid movement define every engagement.
The Multiplayer mode features 12 6v6 maps, with more planned for future seasonal updates. The game will also introduce Kill Block, a modular battleground supporting 3v3 and 10v10 Gunfight modes.
As of writing, the game holds an average rating of 3.9 on the PS Store based on over 730,000 reviews.
