Almost two years after its launch, HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero will be arriving on Steam, available at some point during Q2. Q2 runs between April 1 and June 30, so we can expect to get our grubby little hands on the Steam version in the not-too-distant future.

When Zenless Zone Zero launched back in July 2024, it was immediately available on PS5, iOS, and Android, but HoYoverse opted to use their own launcher and the Epic Games Store as the ZZZ’s home on PC. That’s all about to change, however, opening up the gacha game to a new audience of PC gamers to jump in and enjoy ZZZ.

Zenless Zone Zero takes you to the metropolis of New Eridu, the last city standing after the devastating ‘Hollows’ disaster that brought civilization to the brink. You’ll step into the role of a Proxy, providing help and guidance to those brave enough to leave New Eridu and step into the dark and dangerous Hollows that lie outside the city lines.

Zenless Zone Zero is finally coming to Steam later this year. A character holding an umbrella floating towards a monster.

Of course, ZZZ is all about unlocking characters via the Signal Search system by using Master Tapes or through story progression. Each character has their own unique style and abilities, and players often spend hours rolling through the Zenless Zone Zero banners to find the Agent they want most.

While it’s great news that Zenless Zone Zero is coming to Steam, two of Hoyoverse’s biggest titles are still missing from the platform. Neither Genshin Impact nor Honkai Star Rail can be downloaded from Valve’s storefront, and there’s no word on them making an appearance anytime soon. If you fancy wishlisting ZZZ, you can do so here.

Still, it’s definitely a good omen, and maybe the start of a HoYoverse invasion to come.
