Them having Mina is a super cool addition, but man I will say them having to stretch all of these updates out so far feels super deflating. I do love the original Rivals but it feels like they tried too much all at once and they are just stretching it out to make it feel like it has longer legs when I feel like they could have waited a bit longer as long as they had some core single player modes and an ok roster size (8-12 characters feels good for a game of its size) but now we got to have this game going with live service elements. Like I’m not even one to complain most times in fighters with it because I don’t care too much, but Rivals has so much of the stuff I want promised (including a way to play it lol), but is all in the far off future.
