At D23 this week, Kingdom Hearts fans got another look at Kingdom Hearts IV in a new showcase trailer.
The end of the trailer confirms the anticipated title will be launching on all platforms, including the Switch 2, in “late 2027“. Here’s the official announcement, which also mentions how Pixar’s Coco will feature in Sora’s new adventure.
“Revealed during the Disney Entertainment Showcase on August 14, 2026, KINGDOM HEARTS IV is launching in late 2027! A brand-new adventure awaits as the world of Disney and Pixar’s Coco joins KINGDOM HEARTS IV.”
In some related news, Disney has also announced a Kingdom Hearts anime series is “coming soon” to Disney+ and the Disney Channel.
