PS5 RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered gets September 2026 release date

The Witcher 3 Remastered will release on September 29, 2026. It’ll include the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. What’s more, those who currently own the base PS4 game can now download both expansions for free, then claim the full remastered package in September at no additional cost.

The remaster brings visual enhancements, performance improvements, upgraded combat, improved traversal and movement, new witcher signs effects, transmog, skill tree revamp, expanded photo mode, new finishers, and much more.

CD Projekt RED also dropped a teaser for the upcoming expansion, Songs of the Past.

Songs of the Past will release in 2027.

“This idyllic land is rich in rural tradition and folklore, and its people enjoy a fulfilling life of bountiful harvests and lavish festivals,” an overview reads. “But a dark secret lurks just beneath the surface, and Geralt must overcome never-before-seen foes as he fights to overcome its long-dormant evil.”

Last but not least, CD Projekt Red announced a partnership with Blizzard Entertainment to bring a Geralt-inspired skin to Diablo 4. To unlock the skin, you’ll need to purchase Songs of the Past via Battle.net.
