Pragmata‘s release time is coming up fast, as Capcom finally prepares to launch its oft-delayed, worth-the-wait sci-fi game. Like with Capcom’s other releases this year, Pragmata‘s release times vary depending on which platform you choose. The PC release is a simultaneous global one, but console times are staggered.

Below, we break down Pragmata‘s release time in your time zone for PC and console.

Pragmata PC release time in your time zone

Pragmata launches at 12 a.m. EDT on Friday, April 17 for Windows PC. Here’s what that looks like for the rest of the world:

  • 12 a.m. EDT on Friday, April. 17 for the east coast of North America
  • 1 a.m. BRT on Friday, April. 17 for Brazil

Pragmata release time in your time zone on console

Capcom is staggering Pragmata‘s console release times. It’s a “regional rolling midnight launch,” which in plainspeak means midnight in your time zone. Areas that use PDT are an exception, as the game will launch at 9 p.m. PDT on April 16 for those locations.

If you want to play Pragmata a little earlier and don’t mind creating a second user account, you can try the New Zealand trick. This is where you set your Xbox console time to New Zealand’s time zone (NZDT), or purchase the game from the New Zealand store on the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation. However, you will need to make an account that resides in New Zealand, and will need to swap accounts if you want to play your other games, so it’s often not worth the hassle.

Can you preload Pragmata?

Yes, Pragmata preloads are available now for anyone who’s pre-ordered the game. The file size is around 33 GB, which isn’t as massive as some of Capcom’s other recent releases, like Resident Evil Requiem, but preloading means it’ll be ready to go once the right time rolls around.
