@SalvorHardin How is Sonic an “innocent” IP? It’s not like preschoolers play Sonic games and the modern games are E10+.
The ESRB says of Sonic x Shadow Generations: “Some scenes contain heavier thematic elements: a young girl lying on the ground after being shot off-screen; characters being sucked into time portals; gunfire sounds in the background.”
Also, when has Disney has ever had a blanket no guns policy? Have you seen any of the Disney-era Star Wars movies? Any Disney-era Marvel movie? Bambi?
Fortnite: T for Teen rating
Disney Star Wars movies: PG-13 ratings
Disney Marvel movies: PG-13 / R ratings
Bambi: G rating
Comparing Sonic to Bluey is a slippery slope fallacy. Disney has no reason to give a preschool mascot a gun because it would be an audience mismatch.
