A new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer is out now. The newest trailer for the game gives us our first look at the cover art for the highly anticipated game.
What happens in the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer?
The newest trailer from Rockstar doesn’t feature any gameplay or new footage. Instead, the trailer gives us a look at the game’s cover art. Much like past GTA cover arts, the cover for the game shows off characters and scenes from the game.
The trailer also reveals that pre-orders for the upcoming game are set to go live on June 25, 2026. No official word on any special or collector’s editions for the game has been revealed just yet. However, Rockstar has usually had them for GTA games in the past, so it’s likely they might have one to show soon.
The game’s release date, which is currently set for November 19, 2026, also seems to be sticking around after several delays over the years have pushed back what promises to be one of the biggest games ever.

Grand Theft Auto VI’s development is one that’s been ongoing for over 10 years now. Development on the game began in a preliminary stage in 2014 and has gone through various cycles since then. At one point, the game was set to release sometime in 2025, but would eventually be pushed back several more times.
