One lucky fan could earn $900 for an eight-hour GTA 6 gaming session. While millions are eager to play Rockstar’s highly anticipated game, one player will actually get paid to experience it. However, there is one catch.
Telecom provider Virgin Media Ireland has launched a competition offering one winner €800 (approximately $900) to play Grand Theft Auto 6 for eight hours. The winner will also receive a free copy of the game. They must share an honest review on social media and tag Virgin Media Ireland.
The company will pay the winner €100 per hour, and they can spread the eight hours across multiple sessions however they choose. Applications are open until November 15, but not everyone is eligible.
The opportunity is exclusively open to residents of the Republic of Ireland. This means GTA 6 fans living outside the Republic of Ireland are not eligible. Applicants do not need to be Virgin Media broadband customers. However, they must have an active Instagram or TikTok account to share their review.
Interested fans must complete the application form on the company’s official website and explain in 100-200 words why they deserve the opportunity. Virgin Media Ireland will then select one winner and contact the chosen applicant within seven days of the application deadline.
The winner will have one week to complete the eight-hour gaming session at their convenience. They must then publish their review on social media to fulfill the competition’s requirements.
Set in Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida, GTA 6 follows Jason and Lucia as they get caught up in a criminal conspiracy. The game comes 13 years after its predecessor. Rockstar has also confirmed mini-games and side activities, including jet skiing and mini golf.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
