An actor posting a new image may have inadvertently teased the start of one of the most anticipated PlayStation exclusives.

What highly anticipated PS5 exclusive may have been leaked?

Actor and model Ben Jordan, who is behind the face of Peter Parker in Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man series, took to Instagram to share a photograph of himself in a motion-capture suit. In the photo, Jordan could be seen doing Spider-Man’s web shooting hand signs, and also commented on the story, jokingly noting “IYKYK” (if you know you know) alongside an emoji of a spider.

Fans were quick to flock to the now deleted story, which all but confirmed that Jordan was working on some kind of Spider-Man-related project with Insomniac yet again. While the news excited fans, it also seemingly confirmed that Insomniac was working on the beginning of what is likely to be Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, the third entry in the fan-favorite series. There’s a chance it could have been some other Spider-Man related content, but due to Insomniac noting that they were officially done with work on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, it seems much more likely that this is, in fact, the beginning of development for the third game.

Of course, it’s also possible that this could be work for some sort of cameo in Insomniac’s other upcoming Marvel game, Wolverine. While it seems unlikely for it to be a cameo in the base game, it could potentially be something to due with future DLC for the game that hasn’t been announced. Whatever it is, it seems like Jordan is back in the saddle as Spider-Man, and Insomniac is back to getting some work done with the iconic Marvel character.

Currently, Spider-Man 3 has not been announced by Insomniac Games, so it’s unclear when that game would come out. The gap between the first and second game (with a spin-off in between) was about five years, which means we might not be seeing the third Spider-Man game until sometime in 2028 or beyond if this holds.
