During a Pokémon LEGO Smart Play demonstration at the second day of PokémonXP, the Lego Group announced new sets would be arriving in 2027.
A short teaser trailer featured the silhouettes of five Pokémon as part of this announcement. Trainers believe the designs are based on…spoiler warning…Charcadet, Grookey, Mankey, Pichu and Wingull, but we’ll have to wait for the official reveal!

The current Pokémon Lego Smart Play line includes sets featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Bidoof, Mew, Squirtle, Umbreon and Garchomp, Eevee and Lapras, Cubone and Gengar, Jigglypuff, the Paldea starters, Charmander and Geodude, Charizard and Jolteon, and Mewtwo.
Lego has also released some larger-sized builds based on Pokémon, a Poké Ball, and even an up-scaled version of the trainer, Red. You can find out more about Lego’s interactive Smart Brick and Smart tags in our previous story.
