A free multiplayer action game is now available for players to download from the PlayStation Store. The game currently has a 4.38/5 rating on the store.
Neighbors: Suburban Warfare is now available for free on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The multiplayer party brawler has a wacky premise that players would find intriguing. The game launched in early access in April 2025 and reached version 1.0 as of September 30.
What can PS5 owners expect from Neighbors: Suburban Warfare?
The official description of the game reads, “Neighbors: Suburban Warfare is a chaotic multiplayer party brawler where everyday neighbors turn lawn disputes into full-blown house-destroying mayhem. Team up with friends to defend your home, use whatever you can grab, from frying pans to slingshots, destroy your neighbor’s property before they destroy yours.”
The game offers players a range of characters to choose from, each with its own playstyle. They are encouraged to choose the characters and build their squads before entering the “friendly” matches that the game has in store. Players will also have to go beyond just putting up a fence to protect their houses.
The game features a variety of weapons to choose from. Neighbors: Suburban Warfare promotes that “anything can be a weapon,” including golf clubs, tomatoes, or even a flock of seagulls that can rain down droppings on enemies.
The game comes with multiple modes, including Destruction, Brawl, Prop Hunt, and Robot Invasion.
In Destruction mode, players have the objective of destroying their opponent’s house. In Brawl mode, players must knock out the neighbors, with no houses and no rules. In Prop Hunt mode, players hide as everyday objects in the game world, while neighbors try to look for them. Lastly, in Robot Invasion mode, players team up to defend their properties against a robot invasion.
