PlayStation Store has surprise-dropped a new PS5 action game that Dino Crisis fans might love. Developed by OMYOG and published by tinyBuild, Ferocious is a dinosaur first-person shooter that first launched on PC in 2025.

Ferocious is available now on the PS5 with a 20% launch discount for PS Plus members. Subscribers can pay $19.99 for the title, whereas everyone else has to pay $24.99.
“Wake up stranded on an uncharted island where danger comes from every direction,” according to an official overview. “Ancient ruins, apex predators, and a constantly shifting environment shape your fight for survival. Explore carefully, adapt fast, and turn the island’s dangers to your advantage.”

Ferocious earned mixed reviews on Steam. However, early response from PS Store users has been very positive.
PS5 players have rated the game 4.71/5 Stars thus far.
“Stranded after a desperate search for your missing brother, you’ll need every advantage you can find,” the plot reads. “Control dinosaurs to attack enemies, clear paths, or slip past guarded areas, turning the island’s deadliest creatures into your greatest weapon.”
For now, Ferocious is the closest we’ll get to a new Dino Crisis game.
