Insomniac Games has released a new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 update for July 2026 to start the day, which adds free DLC. All players can now don two new suits for Peter Parker and enjoy new enhancements on PS5 Pro.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 update for July 2026 adds new features alongside free DLC
Today’s Spider-Man 2 update brings the following:
- Two new suits for Peter Parker: Fresh Start and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
- Enhanced PSSR (PSSR 2.0) for PS5 Pro
- Power Saver mode for base consoles and Pro
This is a pretty decent update for a 2.5-year-old single-player game.
As a reminder, Spider-Man 2 is currently part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs. If you have not yet played the game, you can purchase it for $29.39 until August 13. The game is currently 58% off as part of the PS Store Summer promotion.
“Spider-Men Peter Parker and Miles Morales face the ultimate test of strength inside and outside the mask as they fight to save the city, each other and the ones they love, from the monstrous Venom and the dangerous new symbiote threat,” an overview reads.
The PS Store also has a free Spider-Man 2 DLC pack that requires a separate download. The Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack includes:
- One Peter suit.
- One Miles suit.
- 10 Photo Mode stickers.
- Two Photo Mode frames.
